Startups in the area of smart city will be introduced to investors with the support and cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the challenges of ecosystem of innovation and startup of the country is lack of opportunities for attracting investors. Therefore, the “Startup Demo” events have aimed to provide the opportunity to introduce the new companies and startups to investors, who can evaluate the ready companies with the ability to be invested.

This event will be held February 17^th 2018 with the title of “smart city” with the support and cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the national technomart of Iran, science park of Yazd Province, municipality of Yazd, regional technomart of Yazd and Pishgaman Accelerator in Yazd City. The main goal of this event is direct interactions between idea and startup owners and active investors in the area of development of new businesses.  

On the other hand, investors evaluate the startups in a short duration and after holding private meetings, investors will express their opinion about the progression of idea, attracted customers, market volume, level of sale and others. In fact, Startup demo creates a proper communication circle for new business owners and investors.

Startup demo of “smart city” will be held February 17^th 2018 with the support and cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and the national technomart of Iran located in Pardis Technology Park.
