According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, stated on the fifth international conference of ETEC: the main engine of energy field is demand and consumption section. Unfortunately, this issue has not been adequately discussed in the executive organizations.

He continued: the main mission of the energy technologies development headquarter is the development of energy business ecosystem and startups, accelerators, and knowledge-based companies by forming and establishing this ecosystem. Therefore, the activities of the headquarter are in line with the development of activities of this section to witness the development of this ecosystem in the country. On the other hand, innovative business models have transformed the activities of energy field.

The seventh international conference of ETEC (new approaches to energy and the environment) will be held February 25^th-26^th, 2018 in the chamber room of industry, mine and agriculture. This conference is recognized by a large number of academics, government, researchers and students in the energy engineering field and a top conference from the outside of the country. This event is held every year with the cooperation of University of Tehran, central organization of Islamic Azad University, and by the attendance of the majority of top universities of Iran and the world.  

In the past five years, more than 50 international and domestic universities have supported this conference, and more than 200 top Iranian and international professors have evaluated the obtained articles, many of which have been indexed in registered databases and published in top international journals.
