In the first appointment of his new period of activity, the vice president for science and technology affairs selected the secretary-general of the second round of the national, cultural and art festival of “made in Iran” to announce his special attention to culture building and development of entrepreneurship ecosystem and knowledge-based economy.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, issued his first decree in line with culture building about knowledge-based economy and support of Iranian products.
In a decree, Sattari appointed Parviz Karami as the secretary-general of the second round of the national, cultural and art festival of “made in Iran”.
In a section of Sattari’s decree, he addressed Karami, stating: “art is the language of and a window to unspeakable subjects, using of which has led to efflorescence and development of various cultural and social areas. Therefore, it is only fair to seriously consider the effectiveness and importance of language of culture and art in creating dialogue about knowledge-based science, technology and economy. Given the successful implementation of the first round of this festival, for which we really appreciate your attempts in this regard, you are selected as the “secretary-general of the second round of the national, cultural and art festival of made in Iran”.
In this decree, Sattari asked Karami to “create the foundations for flourishing of an entrepreneurial ecosystem and implementation of knowledge-based economy programs in line with the realization of economy of resistance by holding this important event using an artistic language.”
The vice president for science and technology affairs also emphasized: “in line with the statements by our Supreme Leader, you can take a step toward occupation creation and support of domestic production through culture building and recruiting the professional human resource.”
Head of Iran national elites foundation address Karami, the secretary-general of “made in Iran” festival, expressing his hope in acquiring a national approach, that is beyond all organizations, and cooperation of other originations, especially the national media, press people and the cyberspace, members of the culture and art sector, scientific centers and knowledge-based companies in holding a promising event.
Currently, Parviz Karami is the advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs and secretary of knowledge-based science, technology and economy development headquarter. Last year, he was the secretary-general of the first round of “made in Iran” festival.
The second round of the national, cultural and art festival of “made in Iran” will be held December 2017 by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs in Tehran to produce contents to support domestic knowledge-based products and services.
