According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, economic growth in the modern era does not depend on having abundant financial or natural resources but relies on having dynamic minds. While the modern economy, which takes the word knowledge along with its name, uses the workforce and power of financial assets, its real power comes from individuals’ minds, who have learned how to be entrepreneurs.

Sharif University of Technology will hold the national conference of cultural technologies February 18^th 2018 with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs. With regard to the importance of cultural technologies, this conference has aimed to invite professors, researchers and students to create an appropriate foundation for evaluation of the role of cultural technologies and industries in development of occupation and national production. Therefore, holding various educational workshops in areas related to cultural industries is one of the most important objectives of the conference.

Other goals of the national conference of cultural technologies is promotion and use of researchers and elites in areas of development of cultural technologies, evaluation of the role of cultural industries in enhancement of occupation and national production, assessment of the role of cultural technologies and creative economy in economy of resistance, and evaluation of the role of universities and research centers in development of creative economy.

In addition, the role of technology in education and learning creative industries, assessment of bases of culture building, promotion and education of creative economy, evaluation of performance of important international cultural technology centers, providing a foundation for exchange of ideas and sharing experiences in the area of cultural technologies and creative economy are other objectives of the event.

In addition, the national conference of cultural technologies will be held in line with the assessment of role of cultural technologies in development of knowledge-based economy, role of cultural technologies in creation of occupation and entrepreneurship, introducing methods and factors for development of cultural technologies, introducing the dimensions of cultural technologies and creative industries, and summarization, regulation and categorization of the newest articles related to cultural technologies.

The national conference of cultural technologies of production and occupation will be held February 18^th 2018 in Sharif University of Technology with the support of soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter.
