Secretary of advanced materials and manufacturing technologies development headquarter expressed: one of the programs of the incremental build document is empowering human resources to be familiarized with the latest technologies of the world and compete with foreign counterparts at an international level.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Mehrdad Shokrieh, secretary of advanced materials and manufacturing technologies development headquarter, announced the holding of the course and specialized workshops of I3DL incremental build, affirming: a 10-year program and roadmap have been developed in the headquarter to improve 3D-printing in the country, which will be unveiled this May in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs. In this document, a large volume of activities are considered for development of this technology.
Shokrieh continued: education and empowerment of human resources is followed up due to the mentioned document, so that we could have achievements to represent at an international level. According to the assessments performed by the headquarter, we have found a group of Iranians, who are residents of Austria, to register for I3DL program. This group has designed complicated modules to be taught at an international level.
According to Shokrieh, one of the programs of the document of empowering of human resources is being familiarized with the latest technologies of the world and compete with foreign counterparts at an international level. However, entrepreneurship and job creation are being followed up, so that participants are familiarized with the practical and theory of the concept.
Secretary of advanced materials and manufacturing technologies development headquarter also affirmed: the 3D-printing technology is an interdisciplinary field and its development requires enhancement in other areas. One of these areas is raw material, for which proper activities have been performed in Iran. Software and coding are the dimensional area, followed by equipment production and market. The domestic and foreign markets must be formed so that this area could have an impact on the industry. Therefore, education is one of the basic needs, so that we are able to enter the international level.
