Announcement of Call for Scientific Achievement of KANS Scientific Competition

 

The call for sending video files of scientific achievements of the first round of “KANS Scientific Competition”, which will be held along with the Mustafa Prize, was announced.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, KANS is a competition for researchers, students and professors to present their ideas in the form of a five-minute video. This event will be held to find the best scientific solutions for solving the problems of Islamic countries using the capacities of the specialists’ community, an accumulation of works for future exploitation, improvement of level of motivation and creativity of young elites, creating the foundation for identification and exchange of scientific and technological ideas, continuous interactions between researchers through the cyberspace and laying the foundation for research opportunities.

The call for sending videos of scientific achievements of the first round of “KANS Scientific Competition” is announced. In this event, awards will be given to the top videos obtained in various fields of health, energy, economy, water and environment, and communication and information technology.

The third day of the week of the second round of the Mustafa prize was associated with inauguration meeting of KANS competition in three universities of Sharif, medical sciences and Shahid Beheshti. This ceremony was held in the presence of professors, students and selected works of the Mustafa Prize in Sharif university of Industry, continued with scientific panels in universities of medical sciences and Shahid Beheshti. The main topics of these meetings were health, energy, environment, information and communication technology, and economy and Islamic banking.

The Mustafa Prize is a high sign of science and technology in the Islamic world, given to the top scholars and researchers of the Islamic world every two years. This event recognizes, introduces and honors the bests of science and technology in the Islamic world, motivating science and research-learning in Islamic societies. According to the exectuvie document of the Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (vice president for science and technology affairs) is the head of the policy-making council and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis Technology Park) is the secretary of the policy-making council.
