According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, the synergy association of experts contains specialists, who are the members of laboratory network. Members of these workgroups share their knowledge and experience in applied area of equipment and standardization of laboratory activities through holding educational workshops and publishing articles and books.

The active members of these workgroups were awarded on a meeting on planning of activities of year 2018 by the specialized workgroups in the presence of about 30 secretaries and members of the workgroups. In addition to presenting a report on the performance of workgroups in 2017 and deciding about the programs of the next year, the top activists of the workgroups were awarded.

In the beginning, Mojtaba Nasab, secretary of strategic technologies laboratory network, regarded the year 2017 as an active year of the network due to performing various and valuable programs.

Other activities performed in 2017 include providing a new version of online dashboard of laboratories and its transfer to an integrated form of laboratory network, unveiling the trial version of laboratory service system as a complementary section of laboratories and equipment on site of the network and updating the independent site of knowledge journal of laboratory of Iran.

Following that, secretaries of specialized workgroups presented a report on the activities in 2017 and programs of 2018. These programs will be created and implemented based on the opinion of members and with the counseling of active members of each workgroup.

After the speeches presented by the secretaries of workgroups, the top members of these workgroups introduced themselves and provided suggestions to improve and develop the activities of their workgroup and the laboratory network. At the end of the meeting, Reza Asadifard, manager of the strategic technologies laboratory network, pointed out the report of secretaries, expressing: the potential of these 500 individuals is more than what is witnessed today. It is clear that lack of innovation in networks will eventually lead to their destruction.

In the second section of the program, the audience visited the exhibition of products and achievements of nanotechnology area. After the visit, the top secretaries an experts of the specialized workgroups were awarded. Currently, there are eight specialized workgroups active in the laboratory network, information of which are presented on the exclusive page of workgroups on the online database of laboratory network.
