With the appointment of Saeed Soleymani as the director of the knowledge-based economy development program in deprived areas by Ruhollah Dehghani, the context and potential opportunities for transforming the innovation and capabilities of less privileged areas into the economy and employment in these areas will be provided more than ever.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy has addressed the director of the knowledge-based economy development program in deprived areas in his order:

"Regarding the high capacity of knowledge-based companies to play a role in the progress and prosperity of the deprived areas of the country, the following main missions are expected from you in interaction with the deputy of the development of knowledge-based companies:

Identifying the direction and application of the capacities of knowledge-based, creative and technological companies to play a role in the knowledge-based development of the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry and aquaculture, construction of rural housing, development of rural infrastructure, creation of employment, people, improvement of the health of the deprived, and the rehabilitation and development of the following educational constructions for schools and educational and training centers in deprived areas, creating the necessary mechanism to take advantage of the capacity of creative and technological knowledge-based companies for the development of knowledge-based economy in deprived areas and empowering people, planning to hold exhibitions of deprivation-relieving technologies with the aim of introducing opportunities for knowledge-based companies to play a role in the field of depriving and developing less privileged areas, identifying and implementing plans based on regional capacities, helping to create production clusters of knowledge-based value chains in deprived areas, using the capacity of domestic machine manufacturers to create small-scale workshops in deprived areas, using the capacity of regional and provincial agents of the vice presidency for the empowerment and development of deprived areas, interacting with institutions for guardian of deprivation and the use of their institutional and financial capacities to develop the knowledge-based economy in deprived areas.

It should be noted that Soleymani is a graduate of the Elm-o-San'at University, and in his managerial and executive career, he is a member of the establishment and board of directors of accelerators, innovation centers and knowledge-based companies in the field of new technologies.
