The joint innovation center will be launched for Iran and Tajikistan

The cooperation agreement between the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and the Municipality of "Dushanbe" was concluded with the aim of setting up the "Innovation Center of Iran and Tajikistan" and developing technological cooperation.

According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, this cooperation agreement was signed during the visit of Rostam Imam Ali, Speaker of the National Assembly of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe to Iran's House of Innovation and Technology, in view of the interest expressed by the parties in strengthening scientific relations. Technological and economic cooperation growth between the two countries and effective cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation, which increases the economic and social growth of the two countries. It was signed by the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy and the speaker of the national assembly and the mayor of Dushanbe.

This agreement was concluded with the focus of "creating the innovation and technology center of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan" and "expanding the framework of cooperation in the field of technology and knowledge-based economy" based on which Iran and Tajikistan, in the form of defining joint projects for the development of future science and technology, the development of new capacities for knowledge-based and technology companies and the development of research collaborations in the field of strategic technologies that will work together.

The joint work committee is formed with the aim of better advancing the axes emphasized in this agreement and the parties act in the form of a joint work committee in the field of planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation process of joint activities in accordance with this memorandum of understanding. The activity of the joint committee will be aimed at creating organizational, legal, technical and financial conditions for the implementation of this memorandum of understanding and will provide suggestions for coordination and supervision of the implementation of this memorandum of understanding. The joint committee will hold its meetings in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan, and if necessary, it will be held virtually.
