The first international forum on the national automotive science and technology-forecasting program will be held

The first international forum on the national automotive science and technology-forecasting program will be held

 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the deputy of strategic policy assessment and evaluation of the Vice-Presidency has been appointed the secretariat of this national program to hold the first international forum on the future of automotive industry, covering the topic of “drivers and future trends; its effects on the network of actors in the automotive industry” in the presence of active beneficiaries in policy-making units, automotive industry activists, academic figures and other main players of the field. The event will be held June 19th 2018 in Parsian Hotel, Evin, Tehran.

According to this report, the secretariat of the national automotive science and technology-forecasting program stated that two international forums will be held, including one with the cooperation of participants from Italy (Segula Co.) and another one with the cooperation of participants from Austria.

Some of the most important goals of this international forum include “creation of a joint vision for all players of the field”, “an attempt to create a common mental model and influence the interests of this industry”, “identification of technical transition and its requirements and management of this transition” and “evaluation of international experiences in developing a new business ecosystem in the automotive sector”.

On the first international forum on automotive industry, topics such as “introduction of the national automotive science and technology aid program”, “the need to pay attention to the prospect in the automotive industry”, “the future of the automotive industry and its effects on related businesses”, and “layout of the automotive industry for the future” will be expressed by lecturers. At the end of the forum, a roundtable will be held with the topic of “automotive industry in the future” in the presence of representatives from automotive industry, policy-making units, academic activists and international counselors.
