The vice president for science and technology affairs was welcomed by the governor of Yazd. During the travel, he will visit Yazd Industrial Town and the knowledge-based companies based in the zone. In addition, he will meet with the technologists and activists of Yazd Science and Technology Affairs. There are about 120 knowledge-based companies based in the park, 25 of which will display their technological products in the form of an exhibition. The products are in various fields, such as information and communications technology, biotechnology and engineering systems.

Sattari will visit advancements made in the design of a shared workspace, where 50 individuals with innovative ideas are trying to make their prototypes. The sublimation workshop is also one of the other sections that are visited. In this workshop, empowerment and art printing skills training is done.

 Opening an innovation school, the executive operations for comprehensive campus of Yazd science and technology park and Afkare Now Accelerator will also be attended by Sattari.

Yazd Innovation School is an educational platform for high school students, where they will be trained in a project-based system. By doing so, students can improve their talents and choose their field of study wisely.

The comprehensive campus of the park with an area of 70 hectares provides the necessary space for the establishment of large companies. This campus will be completed in three phases. The first phase is the preparation of land for transfer to companies. In the second phase, the buildings will be prepared for the establishment of growth centers and technology pilots, and in the third phase, the activities for the establishment of large national and international companies will be completed.

During the trip, Sattari will visit Derakhshan Innovation Factory, technological teams of Islamic Azad University and Heirani Creative House. Moreover, he will meet with the representative of supreme leader and the Friday Imam of the province and will attend the meeting of knowledge-based economy and production leap.
