Sattari: the Abilities of Knowledge-based Companies Will Improve the Achievements in the Defense Field of the Country
The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed in a meeting with army commanders: the defense needs of the country will be met using the abilities of knowledge-based companies. The defense field of the country has declared its technological needs, which will be met by knowledge-based companies in the best way possible.
This noon, Sattari attended a meeting with high-ranking commanders of the Army of the Islamic Republic and visited Pardis Technology Park.
During the visit, Sattari pointed out the activity of more than 40 technology parks in the country, stating: Pardis Technology Park is different from other parks. This center will be soon turned into a technology town. The park has been developed with the help of the private sector, without which we would not be successful in this area.
The vice president for science and technology affairs continued: the government money does not generate products. We must involve the private sector in the research field to yield appropriate results.
The president of the national elites foundation mentioned: the private sector, which overflows with knowledge and technology instead of investing in the housing and gold markets, is valuable, and we must take a good look at these investments.
According to the president of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy, the financial support of the private sector will lead to products and not the government money.
Pointing out the improvement of the executive phases and projects of Pardis Technology Park, Sattari emphasized: all of this is progressing at a rapid pace. Perhaps the most important reason is the presence of private sector capital.
Sattari affirmed: the park has aimed to attract domestic elites and non-resident Iranian elites and use their power to develop science and technology in the country.
The president of the national elites foundation added: big and small companies work together in this ecosystem. In this park, large companies are located whose capital is significant in the stock market.
According o Sattari, large companies are active in the field of biotechnology, medical equipment and IT. There are also companies focusing on defense products for the country. The defense department must present its technological and product-oriented needs to the companies located in the park in order to deliver knowledge-based and good quality products.
