Secretary of stem cells science and technology development headquarter accelerated the pace of the development and flourishing of innovation and technology ecosystem in the province in the field of stem cells during his trip to North Khorasan.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, traveled to North Khorasan due weeks ago to accelerate the pace of flourishing of knowledge-based entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in the province. During this trip, Sattari was familiarized with the existing capacities and achievements of the creative youth of the region. After that, Amir Ali Hamidieh, the secretary of stem cells science and technology development headquarter, traveled to this province to follow up the activities in line with the aiding of the creative youth working in the field of stem cells.

On this trip, Hamidieh met with the governor of North Khorasan and explained the importance of development of stem cells in the country. In this regard, he expressed: currently, stem cells sciences is recognized as a technological industry and knowledge that must create wealth in the country and occupation and be a beneficial science to the people. By efforts made in this field, we can claim that we own the stem cells industry in the country.

Hamidieh also marked: we observed unique talents in various parts of different provinces. Specifically, North Khorasan province has properly acted in the student field, and achieving two student Olympiad medals in the field of stem cells is a valuable phenomenon. Fortunately, the provincial managers have actively entered the field and have proven their cooperation with relevant field in the area of research.

Emphasizing that North Khorasan province has a close distance from Asian countries, Hamidieh proposed the establishment of a comprehensive stem cell center in this region to attract patients from north countries of Iran, especially Turkmenistan, which has much in common with Iran.
