Facilities Will Be Provided to Knowledge-based Companies Damaged by Corona

Medium and large knowledge-based companies will receive facilities in the third round of support allocated to businesses damaged by corona. The national innovation foundation announced the maximum facilities to be 100 billion Rials.

Knowledge-based companies and innovative businesses have not been safe from COVID-19. To compensate for their damage, these companies will receive facilities. Medium and large knowledge-based companies will receive up to 10 billion Rials with a nine-percent interest rate. The facilities will be provided by the national innovation foundation and in cooperation with Ayandeh, Karafarin and San’at & Madan banks.

In the past, other components of the innovation and technology ecosystem (e.g., small knowledge-based companies and accelerators) have received support. In the new stage of facilities, medium and large knowledge-based companies that have a minimum of 50 human resources and a sales rate more than 20 billion Rial in 2019 will receive facilities.

However, the facilities will be provided on the condition that 90% of companies maintain their jobs.

The employment rate in the company is assessed by comparing the latest insurance list with the February 2020 insurance list. Those who are interested can refer to the Ghazal system of the innovation foundation for more information in this regard.
