Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, on the sidelines of the visit, said that the movement of universities has accelerated towards solving society's problems with creativity and innovation.

Sattari said that the purpose of supporting universities to move in the direction of innovation, creative industries and entrepreneurship is to lead universities towards transformation in society and added: "The most important mission and philosophy of the university is to solve society's problems and lead it to excellence." By training elite, creative and entrepreneurial human resources, the university must play an effective role in transforming and solving the problems of its environment.

Referring to supporting the prosperity of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Khuzestan province by supporting the formation of links in this chain, especially in universities and science and technology parks of the province, the Vice President said: Khuzestan is ready to move towards becoming knowledge-based. The extraordinary capacity of human resources in the province, I hope, with the agreements we had with Behban University administrators, the movement of universities towards entrepreneurship, support for knowledge-based businesses and creative university industries, will accelerate with the development of an innovative entrepreneurial environment.

 During this provincial trip, the Vice President of Science and Technology visited the technological achievements of Behbahan Khatam-ul-Anbia University of Technology and, while talking to university technology activists, reminded them about the development of technological work.

After visiting the technological capabilities and talking to technology activists and academics Behbahan Khatam-ul-Anbia University of Technology, the Vice President will go to Ahvaz to inaugurate the Innovation and Creativity Center and Technology Services Complex of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.

 With the opening of these innovation centers, the innovative activities of the university will flourish. More than 3,000 square meters of common workspace is allocated to the Innovation and Creativity Center. The center is set to serve student teams to cultivate eternity with the help of mentors.
