The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy issued a decree appointing Masoud Hamedanlou as Secretary of the Digital, Connectivity and Communications Headquarters.

In a brainstorming session between the Vice President of Science and Technology and members of the Board of Directors in the Alborz Provincial Research and Technology Fund, the importance of these funds was emphasized in developing the ecosystem of frontier and strategic technologies, including artificial intelligence technology.

The 46th meeting of the Permanent Working Group on the Management of Knowledge-Based Technologies and Production was held at the Office of the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, in the presence of the Vice President of Science and Technology and members of this working group.

Specialized and collaborative meetings focusing on the role of knowledge-based companies in the innovative development of the petrochemical industry, explaining the support of the Vice Presidency of Science, and discussing the capacities of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law were held in the presence of the Vice President of Science and the Vice Presidency's managers at the second Iran Petrochem Conference and Exhibition.

Referring to the creation of an infrastructure for the development of technologies and artificial intelligence to move the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries forward, the Vice President of Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy said: "Economic growth requires moving within the boundaries of knowledge and innovation, and the government is determined to provide the necessary infrastructure for innovative economic growth by moving large companies within the boundaries of knowledge and competing in global markets."

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy stated: A production-oriented approach to meeting the country's needs is not efficient, and the approach to energy management and solving the imbalance problem should be focused on managing and optimizing consumption and finding effective solutions to increase productivity

With the signing of a trilateral cooperation agreement between the Vice Presidency of Science, the Kish Free Zone, and the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Group, the groundwork was laid for the launch and development of a technology hub, including digital economy and artificial intelligence, based on the capacities of Kish Island.

The second Iran Petrochem International Exhibition opened in Kish with the presence of the Vice President of Science and Technology and with the slogan "Supporting knowledge-based production with a focus on production leaps."
