Call for “initiation research grant” is announced by Iran national science foundation so that the accepted projects will soon enter the executive process after the call.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the “initiation research grant” is a support provided by the national science foundation to recruit and maintain prominent PhD graduates from valid scientific centers of the world occurring in universities and research center. In this regard and to facilitate the development of science and technology in a the framework of guidelines provided by Iran national science foundation, requests of applicants to use this grant will be obtained and evaluated July 23^rd-September 23^rd, 2017.

Therefore, applicants must refer to the website of the foundation after reading the guidelines and define and present their projects in the framework of research prioritizations. Moreover, projects will be assessed in the especial committee and research grants will be provided for prioritized projects. It is noteworthy that registration deadline will not be extended.
