Sattari: Reliance on Knowledge-based Culture Will Make Development Sustainable
Sorena Sattari talked about the necessity of attention of all community sectors to the creative human resource capacity and cultural approach of economy and development during the meeting of knowledge-based economy and production leap of the province.
Pointing out that development is mostly a cultural concept rather than being a software or hardware concept, adding: in the past, the concept of development was considered as launching polluting factories, building factories and destroying the environment, but with the rise of knowledge-based companies and startups, we realized that development is a software concept based on innovation and creativity.
Pointing out that the development of provinces is realized by the most important domestic capitals, which is creative human resources, Sattari continued: sustainable development is an endogenous affair and it must occur based on domestic advantages of each province and by the hands of creative human resources. We cannot create development in provinces without considering these features.
The president of the national elites foundation considered human resources as the most important axis of development of knowledge-based economy.
Sattari emphasized the role of universities in the promotion of knowledge-based economy culture and nurturing educated and creative human resources in the province, expressing: instead of relying on government budgets or tuition fees, higher education institutions should focus on producing science, connecting with industry, and building their own graduate-based knowledge-based companies to play a role in achieving faster development in addition to earning money.
The vice president mentioned that efficient research is the result of the innovation of the creative youth along with the investment of the private sector, asserting: undoubtedly, no product will be produced with government money and the resulting research, and if the product is produced, it will not have the necessary efficiency and effectiveness.
He reminded the necessity of developing the favorable ecosystem for the activity of the private sector, mentioning: the government should provide the role of providing the infrastructure and investment should be provided by the private sector so that while the product is produced efficiently, knowledge-based companies and startups have the freedom to operate in the production of the desired product.
At the end of the ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Golestan science and technology park and general directorate of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism and Karafarini Omid Fund. In addition, the construction operation of Gonbad Kavous Innovation Factory was inaugurated by video conference.
