Peyman Salehi, the deputy of technology innovation and commercialization development headquarter, considered the model used in the Iran Lab Expo a method based on win-win interaction between the private sector and government units on the opening ceremony of the seventh round of Iran Sakht Fair, asserting that the abilities of knowledge-based companies will improve by leveraging the state budget.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Salehi pointed out the efforts made to present high-quality products on the event, expressing: about 500 billion tomans of products were presented and sold in the past six rounds of the exhibition. In addition, the subsidy allocated to this volume of sale was about 35%. The win-win method used in the foundation helps focusing on both sides of supply and demand.

According to Salehi, the sales rate of the exhibition was more than 110 billion Tomans in 2018, 30 billion of which was subsidy paid by the Vice-Presidency. In addition, 27% of the allocated support has occurred in Tehran and the rest has occurred in other cities.

The president of the seventh round of Iran Lab Expo stated: the international dimensions of the exhibition are strengthened with the efforts made in this field, and guests have come from other countries to visit the exhibition. Of the 520 companies that applied for the event, nearly 67% were eligible.

An Exhibition to Believe in Ability

Mansour Gholami, the minister of science, research and technology, declared: this exhibition is reminiscent of the efforts that have been made throughout the year and its impact on the event. The history of research and technology in our country may not be long, but its achievements are great and valuable.

More than nine thousand knowledge-based products are presented in the seventh round of Iran Lap Expo held along with the 20^th exhibition of research, technology and technomart achievements exhibition.

The event will continue to December 20^th, 2019. In addition, top researchers and technologists were awarded on the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
