During the travel of the vice president for science and technology affairs to Kerman, a trilateral agreement was signed, which led to the opening of the innovation center in Rafsanjan.
Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, entered the largest province in northeast of Iran to accelerate the pace of booming of the innovation and technology ecosystem. This is the second trip of Sattari to this province in this year to accelerate the pace of technological measures in the province.
Presence among “Ecosystem” Activists
The startup and knowledge-based activists of this historical city hosted the vice president for science and technology affairs. In the first part of his trip, Sattari will visit the economic zone of Rafsanjan and the achievements of knowledge-based companies. Kiasam Karmania Knowledge-based Co., which is active in the field of production of organic fertilizers and pesticides is one of these companies.
With efforts by researchers at this knowledge-based company, the country has gained technical knowledge of new sulfuric acid based fertilizer mix. Researchers at the company have developed fertilizer technology that is suitable for saline and alkaline soils. The knowledge-based companies of Barafza Keshavarz Pars and Persian Bonian Aria are active in the fields of agricultural fertilizers, biologically authorized chemical fertilizers.
Development of Technologies
During the trip, a trilateral agreement was signed among Valasr University, Mes Sarcheshmeh Complex, and the Vice-Presidency to create an innovation center in Rafsanjan.
During the trip, Sattari will visit the development of phase II of the national center for laboratory animal breeding. Two years ago, the first phase of the center was exploited in Shahid Bahonar University in Kerman. It is not just a research center but also a provider of knowledge-based products. Some of the goals of the center include reproduction and breeding of pure-bred and rodent laboratory rodents, breeding and breeding of medium-sized purebred laboratory animals, breeding, breeding and maintenance of pure horse breeds and establishment of sperm banks and artificial insemination.
Acceleration of Innovative Ideas
Opening the “Tag innovation center and accelerator” in Kerman was another program. This innovation center has an area of 1800 m2 and will accelerate the activities of newly developed businesses. In addition to the permanent exhibition of knowledge-based products, a shared workspace is created for 50 teams, and a specialized workspace is created for 10 teams.
In addition, five other fields of handicrafts, tourism, agriculture, health and mine and industry will improve. Events and workshops are also held at the center.
With the goal of developing the ecosystem of knowledge-based and innovative businesses, Sattari visited the opening place of the innovation factory of Kerman.
