The meetings of scientific delegation of the country with the presidency of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, continued on the second day, where the expansion and development of interactions in the field of technology between the two countries was emphasized.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, met with heads of some advanced Russian countries in the field of technology on the second day of travel to Russia.

These meetings were held separately to develop joint cooperation in the field of technology and evaluation of interactive work between Iran and Russia in order to witness the development of interaction between the two parties in the technology field.

Emphasis on Necessity of Joint Cooperation

Ali Vahdat, head of Iran national innovation fund, met with Olga Luchchenko, head of the international section, and Andrey Mikitas, head of the foundation to support small knowledge-based and innovation companies of Russia, and expressed that knowledge-based and startup companies of Iran have entered the universal value chain. In this regard, he added: we are ready to establish joint funds between Iran and Russia to finance the technological cooperation.

In addition, he met with “Alpine”, head of the innovation center of RVC fund of Russia. In this meeting, the attendees emphasized the necessity of joint cooperation between Iranian and Russian knowledge-based companies.

Empowerment of Knowledge-based Companies Was Followed up in Trip to Russia

Managers of knowledge-based companies visited some valid and active Russian companies. Security Code was the first company visited, which is very popular in the field of information technology and has obtained great achievements with creativity and innovation.

In addition, cooperation with various Asian countries is on the records of this successful company, which showed its willingness to cooperate with Iranian companies. Nine knowledge-based companies in the field of information technology from Iran visited various parts of the mentioned company, and the foundation was laid for expansion of cooperation, empowerment and improvement of companies.

Visiting Skolkovo Innovation Center is another program of the second day of this trip.
