The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed: flourishing the knowledge-based economy requires the support of all society parts, and the “Made in Iran” festival is the symbol of a social move toward demandingness and support of knowledge-based businesses and startups.

According to the news headquarter of the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran”, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, pointed out the role of this festival in the formation of a social move toward the flourishing of knowledge-based businesses and startups during the closing ceremony of the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran”, stating: the goal of “Made in Iran” is establishing the relevant culture. However, this festival is a part of the chain of knowledge-based economy. Booming of the knowledge-based economy needs the support of all society parts, and “Made in Iran” festival is a symbol of formation of a social move in this regard.

The vice president for science and technology affairs considered the formation of a suitable cultural foundation necessary for developing knowledge-based businesses and startups and booming the Iranian products, asserting: our young and graduated youth, who seek the establishment of their own business, have become an inseparable part of the economy of the country with cultural and spiritual support of our society.

According to Sattari, “Made in Iran” festival uses the tools and language of art to mainstream the culture of support of Iranian products, knowledge-based companies, and domestic startups.

Awarding the Best Works in the Presence of the Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs

The closing ceremony of “Made in Iran” was held by honoring and awarding the best works in various sections of the festival. In this regard, letters of appreciation and awards were given individuals with works selected as the best works of the “audiovisual section” of the festival by the vice president for science and technology affairs.

The second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held December 25th-29th, 2018 with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian-made knowledge-based products and services, organizing excessive import and valuating high-quality Iranian products and services, and helping the branding of high-quality Iranian products. It should be noted that various sections of the festival include literature, visual arts, audiovisual economy, digital media and idea market and student section, which will be carried out by the efforts of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and with the help of Parviz Karami, secretary of the mentioned headquarter.
