Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, pointed out the tendency of 34 million Iranians to play computer games and the potential capacities of the country in the fields of culture, history, literature and young manpower, emphasized the necessity of investing as much as possible in this creative industry.

According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the 9th Fajr National Computer Games Festival with the presence of Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Hasanlu, Secretary of the development of cultural and soft technologies headquarters, Mohammad Amin Haji Hashemi, the CEO of the National Foundation of Computer Games, the secretary of the headquarters and a group of investors and manufacturers of computer games ended with the introduction and recognition of the winners.

During his speech at this event, Dehghani pointed out that the investment event that has been added to this festival is a positive event and can help the development of this creative industry, adding: Although for the beginning, this amount of investment is appreciable and auspicious event. Considering the country's capacities in this field, the amount of investment in the field of computer games should grow significantly in the future.

Dehghani considered the creative industry of computer games as one of the great opportunities to create added value and employment and said: Today, the competition of companies is about how much attention and time the contents attract from the audience. In Iran, an average of 34 million people play for 95 minutes a day, that is, three billion person-minutes, which is an extraordinary amount of capacity for creating added value, culture and education; Therefore, we must look at this field as a serious market, and when we talk about a market of this size and magnitude, we must definitely see a significant amount of investment in this field.
