According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sung Tao, the minister of international affairs of the Chinese Communist Party, met with Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, in a travel to Iran as the head of a delegation and visited Pardis Technology Park.

Iran’s Advancement in the Field of Science and Technology

Sung Tao, the minister of international affairs of the Chinese Communist Party, pointed out the relations between the two countries in the field of science and technology, expressing: the emphasis of Iran on the field of science and technology is admirable. Iran and China established relations many years ago, which was assisted by the formation of the Silk Road. However, this cooperation is being developed with an innovation called “a belt, a road”.

The minister of international affairs of the Chinese Communist Party continued: despite international changes and challenges, China’s willingness to expand relations with Iran has not changed, and we welcome more relations with Iran in the current situation.

He also affirmed: we also defend Iran"s actions to defend their legal interests. The US pressure on China and Iran will not succeed. On this trip, I realized that Iran is not only an exporter of oil and gas but also has advanced in science and technology.

During the meeting, Sattari expressed: Iran has had relations with China since ancient times, and cooperation has been expanded in the field of science and technology in a way that 50 joint projects have been formed by creating a mechanism between Iranian and Chinese researchers.

Sattari continued: great progress has been made in the field of export of products with advanced technology, and five Iranian offices have carried out relevant measures in China. The president of the national elites foundation also asserted: fortunately, the relations of Iran and China in the field of advanced sciences and technologies are quickly improving and interactions have been made in other technology areas in addition to academic relations.
