According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and quoted by the news headquarter of the national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran”, Seyed Abbas Salehi, minister of culture and Islamic guidance, stated about the support of domestic production: it might be possible to produce products in applied, heavy or agriculture industries, but the fact is that these products can be produced in many other countries as well. Therefore, a part of the issue is considering the excellent points of this product, one of the most important of which is observed in the ethics and cultural industries.

According to Salehi, our society has had significant experiences in various sections of cinema, music, toys, story, sculpturing, theater, and other cultural industries. One of the main goals of the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance is development of this industry.

He also stated: support of cultural products and industries of Iran and helping their recognition by the Iranian and international markets is another pivotal goal of the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.

Minister of culture and Islamic guidance pointed out the support of media activities in the area of introducing Iranian products by the ministry, expressing: our ministry has special encouraging programs for advertisement of Iranian products by the media. Providing the conditions for contemplation over the issue by the media and cultural and art elites will provide a better condition for producing Iranian advertisement packages.

Salehi also talked about the cultural and art importance of “Made in Iran” festival in the area of business of Iran, affirming: support of domestic products, especially the cultural Iranian products, is a safe way to solve the problems of the country using the thinking and administrative power of Iranians. When a producer is ensured of the support of consumers, he will produce the products with more accuracy and higher quality. Therefore, in addition of creating new jobs, the opportunity for competing with the similar products of other countries and economic growth of the country will be provided for us.

He regarded production as a cultural issue, in the path of which cultural products come from culture and art, and art plays a significant role in this regard.

The second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held this January with the support of the knowledge-based industry and sciences development headquarter and secretary of Parviz Karami with the slogan of “Iranian technology, Iranian business”. This event will be carried out with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for the cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of knowledge-based Iranian products and services, organization of excessive imports and valuation of high-quality Iranian products and services, and helping the branding of Iranian products. The event has the sections of literature, visual arts, audiovisual media, digital media, idea market and a student section. Registration deadline of the event is November 6^th 2018.
