The fifth round of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) will be held in Karachi University of Pakistan during February 27th-March 2nd, 2019.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the gathering of top scientists of the world will be held by Mustafa Foundation in Karachi University of Pakistan during February 27th-March 2nd, 2019.

In order to create a space for cooperation and interaction of experts and scientists of the Islamic countries, a project called STEP has been considered. In this program, in addition to establishing science and technology discourse and developing the network of communications of students in the Islamic world, the foundation is laid to increase synergy and develop scientific cooperation and the member countries are able to expand their scientific and technological activities in the country.

On the fifth round of STEP, 70 top scientists will be present from 23 countries, such as the United States, France, Canada, England, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Malaysia, Oman, Egypt, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, India, Germany, Sweden, Kuwait, Iran, Singapore and UAE.

The top scientists of these countries will exchange opinions on field of contagious and non-contagious diseases in the area of health. This exchange of information takes place in various areas such as prevention, diagnosis and treatment, challenges and solutions to them and the cooperation of the Islamic countries.

Professor Jackie Ying is the key lecturer of the fifth STEP, who was awarded by the Mustafa Prize in 2015 and is among the prominent professors of science and technology in the world. In this meeting, he will talk with various scientists in different panels.

Among the goals of the meeting, we can refer to designing a foundation for realization of goals of Mustafa Prize, cooperation and interaction between scientists and experts of Islamic countries and development of scientific and technological activities in member countries of the Islamic cooperation organization.

Various panels and meetings of the event include the panel of effective and distinct measures to overcome the health-related challenges in the Muslim world, the Panel on commercialization in health, the lack of equipment and solutions for collaborative collaboration, and the meeting on removing barriers and identifying ways to increase networking, and women"s Participation in Public health community.

In addition, meeting on latest drug detection and development strategies to overcome the challenges of non-denominational diseases in the Muslim world, Meeting on the contribution of women"s participation in the future of the world village, the latest chemical-pharmaceutical advances, and the latest advances in advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions are other programs of the event.

Along with the initiation of various panels of STEP2018, the third exhibition of the familiarization of industries with the achievements of the Muslim world (EISA) will be held with the participation of companies from different countries of the world, where the latest scientific and technological achievements of the companies will be presented in the form of service and product.
