The national space and advanced transportation administration has aimed to upgrade the database of Iran"s air industry this year

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the national space and advanced transportation administration prepared the database of Iran"s air industry in 2015 and has aimed to upgrade it this year.

This database includes the information of companies active in the area of air industry, as well as advanced services and products. The first version of the database was established January 2016 containing the information of 180 companies.

The final version of the database was presented in 2018 and with access to the information of 420 companies that are directly or indirectly working in the aerial field of the country. This statistic shows a 21% growth, compared to 2017.

Companies presented in the database are active in the specialized fields of mechanical systems, electro avionics, propulsion, structures, supply of raw materials in the manufacture of parts and equipment of aircrafts, airport equipment, casting, testing and laboratory, aeronautical design and repair, maintenance and refurbishment (MRO) in commercial aircraft applications, commercial helicopters and commercial drones.
