Deputy for management development and resources stated: one of the measures taken by the Vice-Presidency to support knowledge-based economy is completing the cycle of financial supply of this field, which is realized by actions such as facilitating the financing of knowledge-based area and preparing a regulation on valuation.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Hossein Esfandiari, deputy for management development and resources, has aimed to complete the cycle of financial supply of knowledge-based field. To this end, pilots have been carried out for some valuation projects by the selected brokers.

He continued: in this regard, we have proposed assigning the valuation system of intangible assets to the Vice-Presidency on the scientific commission of the government cabinet. In addition, the letter of preparedness have been sent to the Vice-Presidency to accept this responsibility after coordinating with the technical office of the budget and planning organization.

Development of Venture Capitals with the Cooperation of Innovation Funds

According to Esfandiari, accumulating biotechnology information, creating a database and using the information and capacities of specialized units to prepare validation reports for all biotechnology activists, including the Vice-Presidency, the Iranian national science foundation, knowledge-based companies, and research and technology funds are among the measures taken by the headquarter to complete the cycle of financial supply of knowledge-based field.

Esfandiari also asserted: another action performed in this regard is the possibility of accepting warranties of the research and technology funds in memorandums of understanding signed with Keshavarzi and Saderat Banks. It is also possible to use research and technology funds as the warranting pillar in the capital market.

Deputy for management development and resources added: cooperation in realization of collective financing, development of venture capitals through cooperation with the Iranian national science foundation, stock venture capitals and research and technology funds are among other measures taken by the deputy for management development and resources to develop the tools for financial supply of the knowledge-based field.
