The first assembly of pioneers of knowledge-based economy in the field of health will be held with the goal of participation of knowledge-based companies in supplying the health needs of the country and development of the network of activists of the pioneer businesses in this field in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs and the minister of health, treatment and medical education.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, “the first assembly of pioneers of knowledge-based economy in the field of health” will host the vice president for science and technology affairs, the minister of health, treatment and medical education, the head of Iran national science foundation, and a number of activists in knowledge-based businesses and policy-makers in health field.

The event was planned by the efforts of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and its goal is participating knowledge-based health companies in supplying the needs of the country and promoting and developing the network of large business activists and pioneers of the field.

The assembly has aimed to lay a foundation for direct interaction among knowledge-based companies and policy-makers in the field of health, through which solving challenges and forming opportunities for development of innovation and technological empowerment of health field is possible.

A “political panel” is considered for the first part of the program, where Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Saeed Namaki, the minister of health, treatment and medical education, Ali Vahdat, head of Iran national science foundation, and Mahdi Eliasi, deputy of policy making and strategic evaluation, will presented a speech.

In the second panel, the approaches of the executive organizations regarding the development of solutions and promotion of businesses in the health field will be explained in the presence of high-ranking managers of three influential units of the Vice-Presidency, the ministry of health, and Iran national science foundation, followed by responding to the concerns and questions of pioneer companies.

In addition to political and executive panels, innovation ecosystem units, such as accelerators and venture capitals, will present their programs and achievements in the form of a task table and with the goal of attracting the participation of enthusiasts of the field.

It is notable that the event will be held August 10^th 2019 in the conference hall of Iran national science foundation by the efforts of the Vice-Presidency and with the cooperation of the ministry of health and Iran national science foundation.
