The main goal of the event is creating the culture of knowledge-based economy and mainstreaming the support of national products. By doing so, we had the idea of making the concept of knowledge-based economy tangible to the society and its members with the help of cultural and art activists. During our many meetings with the officials of these areas, we were asked a lot about the knowledge-based field. In general, it could be stated that issue of technology commercialization and introducing knowledge-based products to the market are new and strange ideas.

The secretary of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter added: therefore, we decided to hold the second round of Made in Iran to bring cultural and art activists and technologists closer. However, we realized that three main pillars of the government, namely the assembly, producers, people and consumers each have responsibilities that must be addressed. In other words, the slogan of “Iranian should buy Iranian products” must not remain a slogan. Therefore, the responsibilities and duties of each section must be determined. The “Made in Iran” festival will be held in line with attention to national production and consumption of Iranian production and focusing on content production.

The general secretary of the second national, cultural, and art festival of Made in Iran announced the inauguration date of the festival (December 25th 2018) and continued: the festival will be held for four days, during which the selected works will be showcased to the public.
