The 13^th annual international addiction science congress will be held to increase the chance of scientific and specialized cooperation among researchers.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mohammad Taghi Joghataei, head of the 13^th annual international addiction science congress, which will be held by the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, announced that evaluation of neurocognitive interventions is an important topics in the field of addiction and the mentioned international event, expressing: this year, the congress has the slogan of “science-based decision making” so that policy-makers and decision-makers of the field could use the opinions and scientific perspectives of professors and researchers in their decisions.

The Latest Findings in the Field of Addiction Science Will Be Developed

Affirming that the event will be held in the presence of all beneficiaries and activists of the related fields at the national and international levels, Joghataei marked: the congress will be held in Tehran with the goal of achieving latest scientific and research findings of experts and promoting knowledge level of therapists in terms of prediction, treatment and rehabilitation of addiction.

Provision of an Opportunity to Gather Researchers

According to Joghataei, the congress is a unique opportunity to gather the viewpoints, opinions and experiences of professors, idea-owners, thinkers, researchers, and beneficiaries of the field at the national and international levels. He also asserted: multiple lectures, specialized panels, educational workshops containing presentation of articles and other scientific products in various fields (e.g., basic sciences, clinical sciences, humanities, social and legal sciences) are included for the three days of the event.

This scientific event will be held August 21^st-24^th, 2019 in Razi Conference Hall of Tehran by the cellular and molecular research center of Iran University of Medical Sciences and National Center for Addiction Studies, Tehran University of Medical Sciences by the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and a number of science and research centers.
