New technologies helped to exploit new water resources; Sattari: The transformation of industry is achieved with the development of deep water in Sistan and Baluchestan

The Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding was signed on "Development and Application of New Technologies for Advanced Studies, Exploration and Exploitation of Deep Waters of Sistan and Baluchestan Province".

The subject of this memorandum of investment is in the field of deep water, so that by planning the use of new technologies, additional studies, exploration and exploitation of these waters will flourish in Sistan and Baluchestan and will be used in the copper concentrate plant.

However, what are the goals of this memorandum? In this field, it is possible to lay the groundwork, institutionalize and document studies and researches related to the subject of the memorandum, exploit renewable waters within the project, identify and transfer advanced technologies for identifying grazing aquifers and also help localize technical knowledge. He mentioned the exploitation of deep waters in the region.

Therefore, this memorandum was signed to facilitate and support this issue and to take advantage of the capabilities of the country's technologists and international experience to develop and use the required technologies.

The memorandum was signed by Ismail Ghaderifar, director of the Center for Strategic Technologies Development, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Nader Gholi Ebrahimi, secretary of the working group for development of water technologies, drought, erosion and environment, Ahmad Ali Mohabati, governor of Sistan and Baluchestan, and Samieinejad, CEO of Parsian Investment Company.

We develop advanced technologies in the field of exploration

Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, said at the ceremony: "Technology is a key issue to solve the country's problems, which can be used in Sistan and Baluchestan and other provinces." Mining is booming in Sistan and Baluchestan, and the country is weak on exploration. At present, new technologies have entered to develop this field, in which we have few specialized companies, and we must develop these technologies.

The Vice President of Science and Technology continued: The Vice President for Science and Technology has done a good job on the production chain during these years. For example, in the field of steel, we do not have a complete production chain in the country, and we are also weak in the field of titanium and magnesium mining. Saline water is also one of the areas that has been neglected in the country.

The head of the Water and Energy Technologies Development Headquarters also said that the country imports $ 300 million worth of potash a year, which is a large amount for a country with large salt reserves. So we have to work on these areas, and good projects are underway.

Sattari considered water as an obstacle to development in Sistan and Baluchestan and South Khorasan and said: "Deep water studies have started in these provinces." In South Khorasan, studies related to 2 zones have been conducted from 3 zones. Sistan-Baluchestan is also a province with many deputies and the province's water problem must be solved in order to develop it.

The Vice President of Science and Technology, stating that access to deep water solves these problems, added: "Study activities in this area have been completed." We have also achieved good results in the field of exploration and we are currently working on the development of a scientific model to achieve higher quality water. We hope to have access to drinking water in the new wells. Therefore, water quality is a concern.

Sattari also stated: In both provinces, the transformation of industry in terms of water development is profound. Because water transfer costs are high. On the other hand, technologies for deep water drilling have been developed. In the field of oil drilling, we have many rigs, some of which are unused and inefficient, and can be used to drill for water. Deep water is a large area for investment that companies can have a high market share.

Water supply of Jan Jan copper complex

In the continuation of this ceremony, Nader Gholi Ebrahimi, the secretary of the specialized working group for the development of water technologies, drought, erosion and environment, said: "This memorandum will be signed with the aim of supplying water to the Jan Jan copper complex." A new program and an innovative action have started in the east of the country, which holds good promise.

He went on to say that there are two solutions in the field of water: Consumption management and the requirement to consume new resources are these two strategies, which according to the conditions of Sistan region, the use of new resources is a priority. Forecasts were made for 12 research wells in this area. 2 wells available. Drilling works of 3 other wells have also been done. Research has also been done to drill other wells.

Development of knowledge-based and innovative measures

Also, Ahmad Ali Mohabati, the governor of Sistan and Baluchestan, said: "Good support chains were formed in the province with the cooperation of the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology and the Executive Headquarters of Farman Imam. There was unemployment in the province.

Kourosh Parvizian, CEO of Parsian Bank, also considered the volume of facilities in the field of knowledge-based and bold funds significant and said: "This memorandum is a continuation of cooperation for the development of technological activities in the country that leads to water supply."

Familiarity with deep water

The water crisis in Sistan and Baluchestan province has become an environmental problem that has affected people's lives. Deep water is a hidden water source that has water resources in rock formations and forms groundwater aquifers that can be renewable.

With the efforts of Iranian experts, for the first time, the knowledge and solution of identifying water to the depths of the earth was introduced to the world. Exploration well No. 1 of Sistan was put into operation in 3 operational phases at a depth of 3,000 meters, which can produce 1,500 cubic meters of water per day. Well No. 2 of Sistan has also been completed as the first evaluation well.
