Knowledge-based Companies Learned about the Europe’s Market

The Specialized Iran-Europe Software Summit was held with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and Ministry of Information and Communications Technology.

The summit focused on areas of artificial intelligence, business intelligence, metadata and organizational software. Overall, 26 knowledge-based companies or technological software of Iran and 27 European software companies from target countries attended the meeting, which was held online for three days. In total, 135 face-to-face meetings were held during the event.

Before the summit, the Iranian companies were prepared by holding a one-month preparation camp so that they could learn more about the laws, standards and business conditions of target companies.
During the camp, Ritone Empowerment and Export Development Co. held four preparation workshops as the export brokerage in cooperation with the International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center.

Workshops were held on "professional content", "workshop on professional behavior in international interactions (in collaboration with ILIA Academy)", "workshop on the IT industry in Germany", "opportunities and challenges for Iranian companies (in collaboration with the Iran-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and a "professional business meeting workshop" was held to prepare Iranian companies.

Moreover, a good interaction was established with the government body of the target countries to explain the dimensions of work and the existing opportunities for the opposing companies. This helps foreign companies learn to negotiate with Iranian companies in accordance with the laws of the above countries and away from informal US laws. Overall, three agreements were reached to start cooperation between the two sides, and detailed negotiations began between most Iranian and European companies to establish areas for cooperation and use of existing opportunities between the two sides.

International Affairs & Technological Exchange Center has aimed to support business and technology meetings held online by the export brokers due to the corona crisis.
