We must realize that our children are the biggest assets of the country. What makes wealth for the country is not underground resources but our children.

Sattari emphasized the money-making nature of the field of medicine and the fact that no other fields can create higher added values, mentioning: in the field of medicine, we received more feedback than the ICT area, and we continue to see the growth of active companies in these areas. For instance, a program was initiated last year, in which 60 drugs and eight vaccines were produced in the field of livestock and poultry.

Pointing out the suitability of this field for investment, especially by the private sector, he explained: different types of accelerators have been established in the field of biotechnology in various cities of the country, such as Tehran, Shiraz, Tabriz, and Urmia. Research in this field is so close to the market that many examples and successful companies have been created. As a result, it makes the investment in medicine more economical.

The vice president for science and technology affairs announced great phenomenon occurred in this field to direct the engineering schools toward medicine field.

He continued: today, this field has entered into engineering faculties such as Sharif Industrial, medical sciences, and even business accelerators in the biotechnology field. New schools have turned to interdisciplinary sciences, which is considered to be the right path. Once, the different schools were separated, and today, we have come to the conclusion that these schools should be merged and interdisciplinary sciences must make a new way.

He declared: everyone must know that economy, occupation, and credits come out of research. Through research, we can maintain the youth of the country and return those outside Iran. The largest source for recruiting the youth from abroad is startups. We have many successful examples, and 60% of individuals returning to the country are currently working in startups.

The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned: our main attempt is changing the ecosystem, as well as the attitude and environment.
