Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: by producing 10 important drugs, there will be a significant improvement in the position of Iran in the world.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, expressed about the production of new biotechnology drugs in the country: in line with the production and localization of 50 drugs of 140 key drugs, production of 20 wealth-creating medications has been successfully done by this accelerator.

He explained about the possibility of 3% share of the global market of this field by Iran, adding: other 35 new drugs can be produced by establishing other accelerators. By doing so, we can achieve the first rank in Asia and gain a 3% share of the global biotechnology market.

According to Ghanei, we can move a few steps further than other countries by having the necessary knowledge and technologies.
