Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: one of the goals of the national space administration is development of ground equipment of the space field using human resource capacity.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, stated about the programs of the center for development of space programs in the country, expressing that the topic of satellite services and ground equipment are being followed up using the capacity of human resources of knowledge-based companies in the country.

He added: despite the low income gain in the area of satellite construction and launching, these two industries are the origin of revenues in the area of ground equipment and services. In addition, Iran must pay more attention to this area as a newly emerged country in the space field.

According to Manteghi, the concentration of governments is on investment in three sections of the space field, including sending humans to space, spatial applications, especially remote sensing, and launcher.

He continued: the level of revenue creation in the global space industry has been above 260 billion dollars in 2016.
