The head of the Iran Veterinary Organization announced the unveiling of “the instruction for registration of medical plants and items related to Iranian traditional medicine” for ranchers and farmers on the fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products, and Iranian medicine.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Alireza Rafieipour, the head of the Iran Veterinary Organization, stated on visit of the fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products, and Iranian medicine: our field of activity is rural and nomadic and our products come from an environment where more people are aware of Iranian medicine and herbs.

According to Rafieipour, 50 medicines in the field of veterinary medicine with domestic knowledge and technology are produced by Iranian manufacturers and used by practitioners in this field. The Iran Veterinary Organization has entered the area of the implementation of the National Documentation of Medicinal Herbs and Traditional Medicine in the past three years and have passed a 10-year path during this time.

Announcing the establishment of a specialized veterinary group, he affirmed: on the fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products, and Iranian medicine, the instruction for registration of medical plants and items related to Iranian traditional medicine was unveiled, which shows that effective measures have been taken for the target society of ranchers, gardeners, bee keepers and aquatic creatures manufacturers.

The head of the Iran Veterinary Organization continued: the organization needs the support of traditional medicine to preserve 134 trillion dollars in capital and animal welfare, so that more effective steps could be taken in this regard.

The fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine (traditional) will be held November 11^th-14^th 2018 in Musala of Tehran by the efforts of the medicinal plants and traditional medicine sciences and technologies development headquarter.
