Chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration stated: the administration seeks the creation of a venture capital process in aerospace industry as one of the new financing methods.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration, expressed about the necessity of realization of venture capitals in aerospace industry, affirming: the aerospace industry is one of the industries with high risks in terms of investment. Therefore, investors are not that eager to invest in this section.

He added: sometimes, accepting these risks is not even possible by companies. Therefore, we must look for the development of venture capitals in this industry.

According to Manteghi, if we can attract investors to invest in the aerospace industry, the development of this industry will continue to grow, because the public sector alone cannot play a role in this industry.

He also asserted: there are young activists and knowledge-based companies in the country that can be greatly active in this field. Therefore, we must support small and newly developed companies through the provision of equity and management assistance.
