According to a tripartite memorandum of understanding, emerging digital technologies will be developed through accelerators.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, by signing an agreement, it was announced that up to five laboratories and accelerators of emerging digital technologies in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, macro data and cloud computing, Internet of Things, added reality and virtual reality and block chains, will be set up, constructed and equipped with the collaboration of digital economy and automation development headquarter, companies of Shahid Beheshti University, and information technology organization.

This memorandum is signed in pursuance of the general policies of the country and in line with the provisions of Article 51 of the law of the permanent regulations of the development of knowledge-based economy, and is following the importance of the development of business in the field of digital economics, as well as the development of emerging business ecosystems and scholars.

The goal of establishing these laboratory centers and accelerators is expanding and supporting the development of knowledge-based economy, diversification of the ecosystem, empowering of abilities of ecosystem of technology-based businesses and development of export abilities of digital economics businesses.

Mahdi Mohammadi, secretary of the digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter, explained the important programs and priorities of the headquarter regarding cooperation with Hub Company and considered this cooperation to be in line with the realization of the goals and policies of the headquarter.

Mahdi Eliasi, head of the board of trustees of Hub Company, pointed out the future policies of the company and considered the role of the company important in the development and promotion of digital economy. In addition, he expressed his hope about turning the organization into a platform for digital economy.

Moreover, Amir Nazemi, head of information technology organization, pointed out the essential role of Hub in the development of digital economy through the accumulation of knowledge and capital, emphasizing the role of university and science centers in the society and development of digital economy in the country and the world.

Javad Eta’at, deputy assistant of financial and resource management of Shahid Beheshti University talked about the importance of creating and investing in such organizations before signing the memorandum and by explaining the history of establishment of Hub Company and emphasized the necessity of cooperation of the company with other units.

The tripartite memorandum of understanding was signed between the digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter, Hub Company, and information technology organization. This agreement was signed by Mahdi Mohammadi, secretary of the mentioned headquarter, Amir Nazemi, head of information technology organization, and Mohammad Reza Sohanian, CEO of Hub Company.

Hub Co. has been established with the scientific support of Shahid Beheshti University and Iran Mobile Communications Company (Hamrahe Aval) and its main goal is using the experimental and scientific power of academics and industries to develop businesses based on information and communication technology.

The digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter signed this agreement to use the power and capacity of active organizations in the field of digital media in the form of joint cooperation so that the achievements and performance of this section would be improved.
