On Tuesday and along with the 15th round of the annual meeting and festival of the bests of Pardis technology park, which was attended by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and a number of members of the board of trustees and managers of technology units of Pardis technology park, Mohammad Javad Zarif responded to some doubts about the willingness of the diplomacy system of Iran toward expanding associations with Europe, stating: meanwhile, 55% of my travels abroad have been to neighboring and Asian countries.

He reminded: according to the ruling of our Supreme Leader, we have always aimed to have a global foreign policy and not be focused in just one continent.

Minister of foreign affairs affirmed that 20% of his travels have been to Latin America and Africa, expressing his hope about increasing the focus of the ministry of foreign affairs on development of relationship with countries of all continents with regard to the orders of the Supreme Leader.

He added: as expressed by our Supreme Leader on the inauguration of Dr. Rouhani, we need to expand our relationships with other countries of the world from all aspects. This policy must be seriously followed up.

Head of the diplomacy system of Iran stated that the developments in science and technology and formation of new knowledge-based companies over the past years have been an honor for our country. In this regard, he asserted: the concept of economic diplomacy and knowledge-based economy is without a doubt one of the important work areas of the ministry of foreign affairs in the 12th government.

Zarif also pointed out: during our travels abroad in the 11th government, we were always accompanied by representatives of knowledge-based companies, which led to positive results in presenting our capabilities to other countries and attracting the market for knowledge-based products.

He also conveyed: without a doubt, the presence of representatives from knowledge-based companies, along with presenting the products, has been an honorable phenomenon and indicative of scientific and technological advances of the country.

Minister of foreign affairs appreciated the efforts of Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and his co-workers at the Vice-Presidency, expressing his hope about more close collaboration between the ministry of foreign affairs and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs to establish the topic of knowledge-based economy to be present in global markets and as a complementary areas for safety of the country.

During the ceremony, best companies of Pardis technology park were rewarded in the presence of Javad Zarif, the minister of foreign affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Mahdi Safarnia, head of Pardis technology park. After that, the minister of foreign affairs along with his deputies and the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the permanent exhibition of the products of the park and some of the knowledge-based companies.

Selected Companies in Festival of the Bests of Pardis Technology Park

In total, six companies that are located in the park were introduced and awarded in the ceremony. These companies have products to be presented in the market, and some of them even export their products.

In this event, the awarded companies were Nazanin Ide Pasargad, electronic commerce company of eFarda, Sana Bargh Tavan, Danesh Andish Rana, Farateyf Pouya, and Ideh Kavan.

 

The 15th round of the annual meeting and festival of the bests of Pardis technology park was held in the presence of Javad Zarif, minister of foreign affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Abbas Araghchi, deputy of legal and international affairs of the ministry of foreign affairs, Majid Takhtravanchi, deputy of Europe and America of the ministry of foreign affairs, Sadegh Hossein Jabari Ansari, deputy of Arabic and African countries of the ministry of foreign affairs, Hassan Ghashghavi, deputy consulate, parliamentary affairs and Iranians, Morteza Sarmadi, special assistant of minister of foreign affairs, Ali Morteza birang, deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, Mahdi Safarnia, head of Pardis technology park, Parviz Karami, deputy of knowledge-based science, technology and economy development headquarter, Seyed Ali Akramifar, head of center for technology and innovation cooperation, Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter, and Hamidreza Amirinia, CEO of Barekat company.
