Minister of higher education of Bangladesh stated: Iran has great potential in the field of knowledge and Bangladesh welcomes Iran with full preparedness for scientific, research and technological interactions.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Dipu Moni, minister of higher education of Bangladesh, was the guest of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, on April 29^th, 2019 to discuss the issues of scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

In this meeting, the minister of higher education of Bangladesh noted the willingness to cooperate with Iran, especially in the field of knowledge, expressing: in addition to its deep culture and good background in history, Iran has also made significant progress in the field of technology.

She also explained the valuable efforts made by Iran to achieve scientific and technological progress, asserting: I believe that no sanctions can harm the cooperation of the two countries in terms of knowledge sharing and scientific cooperation.

Dipu Moni considered the Bangladesh"s infrastructure in the field of biotechnology and universities as a pivot for cooperation between the two countries, affirming: there are many steps in Bangladesh"s self-efficacy, and now, in addition to universities, science and technology centers have a good ability in the field of biotechnology. These structures can be a good axis for the development of cooperation between the two countries.

The minister of higher education of Bangladesh mentioned that there are many important primacy areas that pave the way for interacting in these areas, adding: we will continue to support the cooperation projects between the two countries, and it is important that we can pave this way through more interactions.

In this meeting, the vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the determination of Iran in establishing scientific and technological interactions with the world, continuing: we are ready for cooperation scientific and technological fields. The technological abilities of Iran, especially its knowledge-based companies and startups, are a strong bridge that ensures the continuity of these interactions.

According to the vice president for science and technology affairs, the most important mission of government units of the two countries is providing the necessary infrastructures for interaction among technologists, investors and other effective parts of the country with each other. This eventually enables the countries to establish effective governmental infrastructures that could lead to easy and efficient interactions based on this bridge.

Pointing out that the scientific and technological advancement of Iran improves the condition of Iran despite the unjust sanctions and limitations of the country, Sattari marked: economic relations and progresses made are established based on this limited infrastructure.

The president of the digital technologies and automation development headquarter asserted: in the areas of digital health or IT-based services, the young and creative activists of the Iranian startups have taken great strides. In addition to creating added value, they have formed many occupations and services that have been welcomed by the community. Today, countless examples from the Iranian startups can be said that they have made life easier and, in order to develop this kind of business, we are ready to allow a unique experience of cooperation between the two countries without any limitation.

In this meeting, preparations for the interaction between the two countries and expansion of cooperation based on the establishment of communication between the representatives of the two countries were discussed in order to identify the framework and mechanism of cooperation based on the agreements reached between the two parties.
