According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited the innovation center of research center of cultural heritage and tourism on May 21^st, 2019, accompanied by Ali Asghar Mounesan, deputy vice president and head of the cultural heritage, handcrafts and tourism organization. In this visit, activists of startups talked about their ideas in the field of cultural, soft and creative industries.

Sattari emphasized the cooperation between the Vice-Presidency and the cultural heritage, handcrafts, and tourism organization for development of creative and cultural industries and startups, marking: joint programs and serious collaborations are on the way. We have plans specifically in the field of infrastructural and financial support and we are prepared to support accelerators in the field of tourism and cultural heritage based on the joint cooperation mechanism.

Sattari pointed out the financial and infrastructural support of development of ecosystem for startups in the field of cultural heritage and tourism, expressing: this field pays a part of the costs for restoration of the historic home of Colonel Iraj.

During the visit, the smart system of Hyper Escpo was unveiled in the presence of Sattari and Mounesan. All startups in the field of cultural heritage, handcrafts and tourism have virtual booths in this virtual exhibition and can present their products.

Restoration of the Historic Home of Iraj by the Support of the Vice-Presidency
Currently, a part of the historic house of Colonel Iraj has been renovated and the process of renovation of this building will be completed with the cooperation of the private sector and the Vice-Presidency.

Nomadic tourism, child tourism, virtual museum, voices of historic places, waterproofing the soil, glass and stone of historical buildings are the areas of activities of startups based in the historic house of Colonel Iraj.
