The vice president for science and technology affairs traveled to Qazvin to help recognize the capacities and development of knowledge-based economy by visiting the industrial and innovative units and attending the council meeting on economy of resistance.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Qazvin province welcomed the vice president for science and technology affairs, who entered the province on February 27^th 2019 along with a delegation.

As the first part of this travel, the vice president for science and technology affairs will visit Caspian Industrial Town to visit the knowledge-based companies of the center and talk with the activists of the businesses.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter will visit the achievements of “Tunnel Machineries” knowledge-based company, which has been able to produce tunneling equipment in the country using domestic capabilities.

Presence in Alborz Industrial Town is another part of this travel to Qazvin. Sattari will visit some of the knowledge-based companies based in the region and will learn about the needs and concerns of their activists.

Visit of innovation and technology units based in science and technology park and innovation center based in Qazvin University will be carried out during this travel as well.

Moreover, the vice president for science and technology affairs will visit the international Imam Khomeini University to provide an opportunity for innovative units based in the growth center of the university to describe their abilities and achievements.

The first startup and entrepreneurial club of Qazvin will be inaugurated in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs.

In another part of this travel, the vice president for science and technology affairs and Hojatollah Abdolkarim Abedini, the representative of the Supreme Leader and the Friday Imam of Qazvin will meet.

In the final section of this one-day travel to Qazvin, Sattari will attend the council meeting on economy of resistance. Expressing the needs and solutions to develop the ecosystem of entrepreneurship in the province in the presence of provincial authorities and technology activists is one of the topics of the meeting.
