Iranian and Brazilian researchers have conducted joint collaboration. Artificial intelligence, the study of cognitive functions, and neuroscience are three areas of this research. Research that paves the way for research to flourish in these areas.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the “joint cooperation table of Iran and Brazil” is the title of a project performed by the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and Brazil Sao Paulo Research Foundation to enhance the interaction between the two sides. The project seeks to strengthen collaboration between the research teams of Iran and Brazil on the frontiers of technology knowledge as well as the development of cognitive services and tools. Artificial intelligence is a collaborative project that researchers at the University of Tehran and the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, are conducting to investigate the methods of processing and analyzing data from vital signals to predict human intelligence using brain images. Researchers hope that by developing new methods of data analysis, they will be able to find a significant link between human intelligence and information in MRI images and predict human intelligence from these photos.

At Shahid Beheshti University, Iranian and Brazilian researchers in the field of neuroscience are also researching the role of brain cells in alcoholism to provide a solution to help recover from addiction.

So far, there have been seven calls for the realization of the Iran-Brazil cooperation table to witness the development of Iran-Brazil cooperation in the field of cognitive sciences.
