Dehghani:
A three-fold increase in Iran's knowledge-based exports this year/ developing relations based on technology, a serious policy of the government
The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, pointing to the importance of export as the main factor in the formation of a knowledge-based economy, announced a threefold increase in knowledge-based exports in 2023
According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, speaking at the second gathering of the Knowledge-Based Export Companies Club, pointed out that in the past, science and technology were considered completely showcases; He said: By looking at history and remembering the kings who, by providing all kinds of support to scientists and scholars, only wanted their presence in the court, one can understand the showcase of science and technology. After the industrial revolution in Europe, science found a wealth-creating function, and Europe made significant progress with this tool, and science and technology, which were considered decorations from the eyes of the Easterners, became a tool for creating wealth, and all the progress is owed to the West.
Emphasizing that knowledge-based export is a diplomatic tool for us, Dehghani stated: The development of science and technology diplomacy and the development of relations based on technology is a serious policy of the government. Therefore, in all foreign visits and parties, they are offered to visit knowledge-based companies and their achievements, and this approach has caused, according to customs statistics, knowledge-based exports in 2023 to experience a threefold increase compared to the previous year.
In the end, he recommended that the club of knowledge-based export companies is not only a place to gather and give speeches, but also to create a board of trustees to share the companies' experiences with each other.
