1. Inventors: who play a role in the formation of the main claims of the invention. While inventors are identified by self-claim, the patent registration office can receive complementary information from inventors, if required. 2. Invention owners: ownership of invention means receiving a part or all of the financial benefits of the invention. Actual and legal owners are introduced by inventors. In case of lack of adhering to owner(s) right by inventors, this center is not responsible for the consequences.

Topics subject to the Patent Law are registrable items that are not limited to the geography of Iran or a specific geographic area and have a wider application (For example saffron cultivators are used only in Iran and in limited parts of the world where saffron is cultivated.) Software areas are supported in specific conditions and evaluation, or lack of evaluation of projects is announced after studying the requested topic. Nevertheless, new complicated protocols of data transfer and issues related to system architecture and coding will not be supported. Note 1: inventions in the software field are registered in limited countries. Therefore, they will be assessed only if demands are made by companies that want to be present in the market or by startups and accelerators. In specific cases, the files with simulated outputs are supported. Note 2: files with stimulated outputs (e.g., mechanics, chemical engineering, and aerospace) are only evaluated if the cost of search for innovation of the invention is paid or delivered by companies, or the project is confirmed by the specialized committee of the universities approved by the association (the association introduces specialized committees to inventors).
