The law to support knowledge-based companies and institutions was approved in 2007 to motivate technological innovation through the support of agencies that create wealth by developing and commercializing technology. Under this law, companies benefit from various types of support, and the Vice-Presidency has attempted to provide more efficient support through interaction with policy-making units and other executive organizations. However, we must first recognize knowledge-based companies in order to support them, for which a working group entitled “evaluation and confirmation of legitimacy of knowledge-based companies and institutions and monitoring knowledge-based companies” after the approval of the council of ministers and over the decree of the president with a focus on the Vice-Presidency. The first mission of this working group is identifying knowledge-based companies and institutions, followed by implementation and maximum activation of capacities of this law.
