Information and Communication

  o Receiving news and information from the Vice-Presidency in order to set up reports, news, news policies and advertising, and implementing communication and publishing plans in accordance with the organization's macro policy through: attending meetings, direct and ongoing contact with the authorities, attending domestic and foreign travels, receiving news of plans and programs of different units of the organization, publishing correspondence that is informational, and direct communication with people and domestic and foreign media

o Continuously, effectively and systematically communicating with mass media in various sectors, especially science and technology

o Planning and implementing news and media meetings of deputy and managers

o Planning and implementing the information process of the deputy's activities through written media, cyberspace, and IRIB

o Reviewing and reporting the news and content related to the deputy in the media

o Managing electronic news databases (websites)

o Recognizing, communicating and benefiting from the capabilities of authors in the field of science and technology in the form of a group of writers

o Providing a media attachment to the organization's plans to clarify public opinion

o Reflecting the plans and functions of the organization to the people, the government and institutions and organizations inside and outside the country as the spokesperson of the organization

o Preparing announcements, statements, advertisements and messages of the organization

o Acting to bring public opinion through sending an answer, corrigendum, and rejection of the inaccurate material

o Outsourcing of specialized services required and monitoring the good work of the affairs from the beginning to the delivery of the work with the best quality

o Observing the media and general assemblies in relation to the organization's direct and indirect activities for the purpose of informing, reflecting and responding as necessary

o Effectively participating in the planning and implementation of promotional, informational, publishing and cultural events, exhibitions and festivals

o Implementing other matters by the high position of the Vice-Presidency

Advertising and Cultural Affairs

o Facilitating the process of communication and interaction with people, staff and management

o Introducing capabilities and activities of different departments of the Vice-Presidency by using modern knowledge and appropriate advertising and exhibition practices

o Outsourcing of specialized services required and monitoring the good work of the affairs from the beginning to the delivery of the work to the best quality

o Planning and implementing cultural and extracurricular activities for deputy staff (strengthening of in-system processes)

o Planning and implementing cultural affairs, informing and promoting national festivals, national assemblies and events of the Vice-Presidency

o Implementing and delivering cultural and art promotional programs to colleagues in various formats

o Effectively participating in the planning and implementation of promotional, informational, publishing and cultural events, exhibitions and festivals

o Implementing other issues ordered by the high position of the Vice-Presidency

Publications and Documentation

o Establishing procedural unity, outsourcing and monitoring the good work of publishing, advertising and communication affairs of the organization

o Publishing the performance of the organization and its various units within the framework of the approved legislation

o Preparing information and audiovisual archives of organization’s activities

o Providing photos, videos, teasers and all the multimedia needs of the organization

o Informing through the publication of the domestic publication within the framework of the law (written and electronic)

o Documenting and archiving the activities and abilities of the Vice-Presidency in audio, video, written and electronic forms

o Producing and distributing publications and promotional items, and supervising the quality and cost-effectiveness of the procurement, production and distribution of publishing items

o Collecting, classifying and maintaining important print, written, and electronic documents

o Creating archives and providing audio and video services to the requesting centers

o Outsourcing specialized services required and monitoring the good work of the affairs from the beginning to the delivery of the work with the best quality

o Effectively participate in the planning and implementation of promotional, informational, publishing and cultural events, exhibitions and festivals

o Implementing other affairs issued by the high position of the Vice-Presidency

Ceremonies and Rituals

o Accompanying the high position of the Vice-Presidency in programs and carrying out coordination, communication and information activities

o Respecting the religious and national occasions by holding the appropriate ceremonies and occasions in order to establish a good relationship and attract partnerships between staff and officials of headquarters, subordinate units and provinces

o Operational planning and following up the holding of ceremonies, meetings and occasions

o Outsourcing specialized services and monitoring the good work of the affairs from the beginning to the delivery of the work with the best quality

o Effectively participating in the planning and implementation of promotional, informational, publishing and cultural events, exhibitions and festivals

o Implementing other matters issued by the high position of the Vice-Presidency

Polling and Public Communication

o Facilitating the process of communication and interaction with people, staff and management

o Conducting surveys from the target community on the activities of various areas of the Vice-Presidency

o Establishing a system for responding to in-person and virtual users applying new technologies for informing audiences

o Coordinating the affairs of public affairs units of subordinate units

o Outsourcing specialized services and monitoring the good work of the affairs from the beginning to the delivery of the work with the best quality

o Assessing the opinions and the public opinion of people, audiences and recipients of services and present results to the officials of the organization in order to adopt the appropriate implementation methods and to develop proper executive and communication plans and programs

o Following up the timely achievement of promises made by the authorities and reflecting the results

o Providing good communication between people and authorities of the organization through public meetings, interviews, holding lectures, arranging trips, and visits

o Implementing other matters issued by the high position of the Vice-Presidency

Research and Planning

o Designing communication and promotional policies and organizing mass information of the organization

o Regulating and proposing the annual program and budget of the information and communication office

o Planning and updating public relations activities, continuous training of colleagues and subsidiaries

o Planning to hold public meetings with the authorities and holding Q/A sessions

o Analyzing the content of the material published in the media and specialized publications, and preparing and regulating relevant analytical reports

o Following up public relations’ contracts and overseeing their proper performances

o Outsourcing specialized services required and monitoring the good performance of the affairs from the beginning to the delivery of the work with the best quality

o Implementing proposals system

o Communicating with the public relations of other organizations and government institutions

o Implementing other matters issued by the high position of the Vice-Presidency
