Usually growth and development of civilizations by people of different countries is based on several basis, that ways are one of the most important basis in this context. Often, when we speak about ways, we depict highways, streets, asphalted, gravel and even soil roads in mind.

But most of us, have forgotten the ways that have had a tremendous impact on the growth of industry and trade of human throughout history, water ways. Rivers, lakes, seas and oceans, and the ports are usually and always have been abundant boom place for a nation that had not like rest. The oldest ports, associated with itself our ancestors footprint, the bulk of our country borders engulfed waters and one of world flowing waters of the most strategic is for us, the Persian Gulf.

Seas in addition to discussion of trade and industry also had been put and have been put the impact finger on cultures. Climate and the environment have created ecology that each one have so talks to human history. Nevertheless, spread of urban culture gradually has sent Iranian human from the sea to the plains and foothills and in the historical evolution, the sea gradually has remained oppressed.

Strangely, thirsty often soil and low rainfall in different parts of Iran, enchant people to itself which sea with all its blessings and richness and generously not able to attract until where most of our beaches were devoid of human life and tolerate suffer of roving and oblivion on its sand body for many years.

Nevertheless, now (thankfully) we spent our life in the years that knowledge-based breeze is blowing slowly, on land, in the seas and off the coast of our country. Serious program of Vice-president of Science and Technology as the leader and the main rotator of knowledge-based Economy wheels is, productive all sections to technology thinking and the commercialization of knowledge-based produces.

In addition, the wise leader of the revolution has a special look based on modernization and construction of the sea coasts of country and devices are required to have special attention to this section.

By the same token that Vice-President of Science and Technology launched technology and industry development foundation of knowledge-based Marine last year which beside resolving concerns of the great military and government in relation to sea issue, create new routes to development of talent and capacity of our country .

The first student festival of the sea, undoubtedly will be on the first day of new season for our country. Hope that the sea is gem-filled and wavy and full hunting.
