Supporting Iranian professionals and entrepreneurs abroad; 15 start-ups in the field of nanotechnology were launched
By the end of last year, 15 start-up companies were registered in the field of nanotechnology under the "Cooperation with Iranian Professionals and Entrepreneurs Abroad" program.
The Nanotechnology Development Headquarters of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology cooperates in the "Cooperation with Iranian Specialists and Entrepreneurs Abroad" program as a specialized base in the field of nanotechnology. This program in the form of supporting the holding of scientific and research courses including "postdoctoral", "study opportunity", "visiting and appointed professor", "establishing a start-up company" and "giving lectures and holding specialized workshops in the field of nanotechnology", effective communication between scientists And facilitates Iranian specialists abroad and selected research centers in the country.
In 1999, the headquarters was ranked second among the 70 partner bases of the Vice President for Science and Technology. According to the statistics provided, 9 Iranian specialists and entrepreneurs abroad have participated in postdoctoral courses.
Sixteen of them also participated in lectures and specialized workshops. 15 start-ups were also formed by these people in the field of nanotechnology. 1 request was submitted for a study opportunity and one request was submitted for a visiting professor.
The program of cooperation with Iranian specialists and entrepreneurs abroad (Connect.isti.ir) is being implemented to use the scientific and professional capacity of Iranian researchers and specialists and establish relations with selected scientific, technological, and industrial centers of the country.
